There are various types of cable accessories with different characteristics and limitations, and they generally cannot be replaced by each other. There are several common ones:
(1) Wrapped type: Cable accessories made by wrapping rubber tape (self-adhesive) on site are called wrapped type cable accessories, which are easy to loosen, have poor fire resistance, and have a short service life;
(2) Pouring type: It is made by pouring thermosetting resin as the main material on site. The selected materials include epoxy resin, polyurethane, acrylic resin, etc. The fatal disadvantage of this type of accessory is that it is easy to produce bubbles during curing;
(3) Moulded type: mainly used for intermediate connection of cables, for on-site mold heating and integration with cables. The manufacturing process of this accessory is complex and time-consuming, and it is not suitable for terminal joints;
